Access to cultural participation should be a right. Aware of this, FITEI is determined to make its program and services more accessible to match and respect the diversity of its public. Through a series of measures and conditions that are gradually being implemented, the festival aims to promote physical, social and intellectual access and provide an inclusive experience to all people looking to consume culture.
PHYSICAL ACCESS
All theatre halls hosting the FITEI 46 selection are adapted for people with reduced mobility, including people in wheelchairs.
Public access to these spaces is also more comfortable due to public transport and parking proximity.
FITEI ABERTO
FITEI has a section dedicated to parallel activities – FITEI Aberto – which has a set of entirely free initiatives open to the public.
FITEI SAFE SPACE
The festival wants to guarantee the well-being of all its audience so that they can freely enjoy the best that culture has to offer. To this end, FITEI created a completely safe space for communicating discriminatory nature situations. Therefore, if you have experienced any of these situations during the festival in the theatres that welcome the event, do not hesitate to contact us at acessibilidade@fitei.com.
